The lake looks positively silver tonight. I tried taking a baker's dozen worth of pictures of it and couldn't capture it -- the lake kept blending with the sky.

It looks neat when it does, and it does in various colors -- gray, silver, even slate blue. Of course, at night, when it's all endless black.
Today, the lake looks like the ocean.
I love that I can turn my head from my keyboard and see a slice of the lake, maybe 300 yards away. A short walk away.
